With this Y-Cable you can connect your GPS to the PTC-IIex and PTC-IIusb modem.
ARPS and position data in transit mails is growing in popularity for many purposes. Our modems with RS232 interface, so the PTC-IIex and the PTC-IIpro, can read the NMEA (GPS data interchange format) input. The modem can process this data directly and send it as a beacon signal. Also known programs, such as Airmail etc. rely on the position information The Y-cable is plugged in between the serial connection and draw down a 9-pin RS-232 jack for connecting your GPS unit.
Note:The PTC-IIusb and PTC-IInet are equipped with terminals for the GPS signal cables.
