Have had this transceiver for over a year & in the first week I already had figured out the rig completely , actually the first at I had it turned on I already had most of it all figured out but that’s because of already ha I g an ftdx3000 for a few years. Over all the ftdx3000 is a very nice rig but obviously the fydx101mp is a bit different. For my personal liking & being always having tawau transceivers I’m happy with the ftdx101mp. Just read the manual as you should for every new rig you purchase & also set your alc & amc properly. You will have to set it & monitor it by comp & alc meters. But like I said read the book & bobs your uncle. 73 & if you got one or decide on getting one I’m sure you will be happy with it.

Incredible !
After spending almost two years with a Flex 6600M, I decided that I wanted a more traditional radio, but didn't want to give up the performance that the Flex has. I also wanted a bit more ooomph, so went with the MP 200 watt model. The receiver is everything that it is touted as - truly amazing.
Quite a bit to learn, but the receiver performance just amazes me every time I want to dig down on the weaker ones. On CW, with the filtering and APF, weak signals just pop out of the noise.
Although pricey, it is definitely worth the money.
