This is a great radio, very substantial in weight and construction. Sound is very good from a smaller speaker. It is quite sensitive at picking up SW/AM/FM. I'm using a long wire antenna for shortwave reception, local AM/FM stations are no problem. The fast/slow tuning is challenging to learn (toggling between them), but once it's mastered, it is a really nice feature. Lots of preset slots for all bands. Instructions that came with it could have been written better. Overall I am very pleased with this radio. I expect many hours of use and enjoyment from this radio.

I’ve had this for a week , it’s a great FM/AM radio .My house has a metal roof yet I’m still able to bring in many AM stations in the early morning hours without an external ( Sangean) antenna. This is for going to camp , compact , easy to use once you’ve read the manual and figure out that the radio has to be OFF to make some inputs like turning on/ off LW, etc . It does everything I needed it to do.Thank you Radioworld , best price around .
