IP1000C W/AC Adapter

IP1000C
Radio System Controller
ICOM IP1000C Series WLAN Radio System Controllers are the wireless radio network controller that keeps track of all of the Wi-Fi two-way radios on your network. IP1000C controllers interconnect ICOM IP100H radios through third-party manufacturers' WLAN access points, allowing for great communications flexibility. These controllers easily install in tandem with existing IP1000Cs, or in new wireless radio networks. Think of ICOM's IP1000C like a trunked-radio system controller. They are really the heart of ICOM's IP-based radio systems. System coverage is limited only by your own WLAN.
ICOM's radio system for wireless networks is a product that bridges the gap between license-free and licensed radio devices. Their system is easily connected to an existing wireless network and allows reliable communications with exceptional sound quality. Since communication over a WLAN offers a wider frequency bandwidth and high Quality of Service (QoS) priority packet delivery, the sound quality is higher than in a traditional radio communication system. The wireless security protocols WPA-PSK and WPA-PSK2 also encrypt the calls for a high level of security. ICOM IP1000C Series WLAN Radio System Controllers effectively manage these system characteristics

Optional IP100FS software, installed on a Windows tablet, laptop or PC, will allow that device to connect to the network and be used as a virtual radio. A microphone and sound card is required. They may call a user or users, send text messages and can easily see the access point to which each user radio is connected. IP100FS software creates a valuable dispatch tool or system monitor.
