Excellent Wideband Audio
The audio is excellent on this ICOM only mic and its for ragchewers. If you want DX sharp audio then the DX machine cartridge on the proset headsets a better option. However, the new radios have built in eq so you can round of the top, peak the mid range and lower the bass and mimic the DX cartridge easily then switch it back when jumping on ONTARS. Forget the body PTT and get the trigger switch cable because if you use the swivel arm or desk top base the PTT on the body is a pain. Bob Heil threatened a purple version so get the silver while they last
