For Commercial and Mobile Radio testing, the Optoelectronics Xplorer stands alone. Let the Xplorer perform all your quick radio checks, instantly determing the radio's frequency, CTCSS, DCS, DTMF, Deviation, or Signal Strength. The Xplorer automatically locks on to any nearfield signal from 30MHz-2GHz in less than a second.
There is no setup necessary - Whether you're in the field or in the shop, the Xplorer is the portable, compact and economical solution for any two-way communications business.
The Xplorer Test Receiver now comes with two exciting new features exclusively for commercial users. LTR Decoding: LTR decoding is now available for the communications professional. Key up any transmitter and watch the Xplorer instantly decode 5 different fields of LTR information: Area Code, Go to Repeater, Home Repeater, ID, and Free RepeaterFrequency Blocks.
There are now 10 separate, individually programmable, frequency block locations. Two different frequencies are required to be input to create a block. Each block of frequencies can be set to INCLUDE a range of frequencies, or EXCLUDE a range of frequencies. Including a particular range means the Xplorer will only lock onto those blocks set for INCLUDE, effectively locking out any frequencies not selected.
Excluding a block of frequencies means the Xplorer will not lock onto those blocks selected for EXCLUDE, enabling the Xplorer to lock onto those frequencies not selected. In addition, the commercial version of the Xplorer, including the ability to lockout up to 1000 individual frequencies, ensuring that your testing time will not be wasted by the interference of unwanted signals.
- CTCSS Decode Mode: (PL tones). The Xplorer can automatically decode any of the 52 standard CTCSS tones
- DTMF Decode Mode: The Xplorer can decode all 16 DTMF digits (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0,*,#,A,B,C,D) while displaying up to 11 digits on its two line LCD display
- DCS Decode Mode: (DPL codes). All standard 106 DCS codes can be decoded
- Signal Strength Bargraph: The Xplorer is equipped with a 10 segment relative signal strength bargraph
- Deviation Mode:Deviation can be measured using this mode. A three second delay time is recommended for storing Deviation
- LTR Decode Mode: A new feature to the Xplorer is its ability to decode LTR Trunk Protocol, five different fields of data are decoded including: Area Code, Go To Repeater, Home Repeater, ID, and Free Repeater
